How a partnership works
A first conversation
A conversation about what you do, what you are looking for and what the work usually looks like.
A shared picture
Which assignments are a good fit and whether the way of working matches. The work should be of real use to the organisation that receives it.
Agreement
If it is a good fit, an agreement on roles, responsibilities and terms is signed before an assignment starts.
Work inside an organisation
An engagement inside an organisation is carried out close to the people who work there. It usually works best when three things are in place.
A sponsor
Someone in management who stands behind the work and can make decisions when needed.
A mandate
A clear assignment on what the work may change, so that it gets buy-in at every level.
A driven person
Ideally someone in the organisation who is passionate about the issue. The work happens close to that person, so the knowledge stays in the organisation.
